Lake Tahoe
We were fortunate enough to be welcomed to the state of California with a citation from Officer Coola for sleeping in a closed campground. After a sleepless night in Vegas followed by a nine hour drive, we saw no choice at the time. Apparently, the Department of Parks and Recreation takes this offense "very seriously" (insert very stern face and finger shake). Thanks for nothing officer BOOla.
To stay on the winning side of things, we chose a new home with a lake view and private dock. . . (as in we were the only ones chosing to use the dock at the time). . It was a perfect place to call home for a couple days. The daily routine included sunrise and sunset lake views and a cup of cowboy coffee on the dock. Take that officer BOOla.
Next on the agenda, The Spot. Granite rock for sun bathing, beautiful clear turquoise water, shady spot for the cooler, and beer in hand. Winning, definitely winning.
Enough of the relaxing already. We finally got a hike in by emerald bay to Eagle Lake.
Wine + Sunset + Dock = Best Heel Click Ever
